The Battle of Omdurman was an essential battle in the Sudan against the Fuzzy-Wuzzies. Commandeered by Lord Kitchener, the British forces moved in and crushed the Madhists and the Fuzzy-Wuzzies with overwhelming rifle fire and a bayonet charge. Lance-Corporal Jack Jones was a soldier on the Front Line of Omdurman and makes several remeniscent comments on the battle, especially on Lord Kitchener and the Fuzzy-Wuzzies.
