St. Aldhelm's Church is the parish church of Walmington-on-Sea. During the Second World War the incumbent vicar is Reverend Timothy Farthing and the post of verger held by Maurice Yeatman. It was used by both the Home Guard and the ARP. There is a hall next door which is the setting for various community events.
