St. Aldhelm's Church is the parish church of Walmington-on-Sea. During the Second World War the incumbent vicar is Reverend Timothy Farthing and the post of verger held by Maurice Yeatman. There is a church hall next door which is the setting for various community events, often by both the Home Guard and the ARP.
